Dental Explorer Mentorship Program

Dedicated to empowering aspiring dental professionals by providing mentorship, guidance, and exposure to the field of dentistry. Our mission is to bridge the gap between curiosity and career by fostering a supportive environment where students can explore dental careers, gain hands-on experience, and build meaningful connections with experienced mentors.

Our Work

The Dental Explorer Mentorship Program works to:

1. Connect Students with Mentors: Pair high school and undergraduate students with dental professionals who offer guidance, insight, and personal experience from the field.

2. Provide Educational Resources: Offer workshops, webinars, and resource materials covering dental school preparation, application processes, and career pathways in dentistry.

3. Facilitate Clinical Exposure: Organize opportunities for students to observe dental procedures, volunteer in clinics, or engage in shadowing experiences to better understand the day-to-day responsibilities of dental professionals.

4. Support Academic and Professional Development: Help students build the skills and confidence needed for a successful dental career through interview prep, resume reviews, and networking opportunities.

5. Promote Diversity and Inclusion: Encourage participation from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds, aiming to build a more diverse and equitable dental community.

Education & Skills Development

In 2025 we partnered with an elementary school in a rural village of Rwanda called Muhozi. This school was built and started by people from a local church in Rwanda. The school now has 3 completed classrooms that serve over 125 students. We are hoping to complete additional classrooms to have more space for the children to learn in adequate conditions.
